San Diego Tijuana International Jazz Festival Indio reviews
Tim McGraw needs a new sound crew
We were highly disappointed. Our family anticipated this concert eagerly. We left early because the sound was horrible -- what was the point? We were not necessarily disappointed because of the performance. We expected that we would be too far away to see San Diego Tijuana International Jazz Festival well since we had seats on the lawn. We expected to hear and enjoy the music, but could hardly understand the words to the songs we knew, much less the songs we didn't know. When he talked, we couldn't understand at all. So much so that we heard a few songs better than others, but I think it was because they were cover songs and the crowd sang along so loudly. Why was he singing Elton John songs when he has a library of greatest hits that could span four hours? Even calling the show mediocre seems unfair. Anyway, maybe it was awesome and he performed his heart out, but we just couldn't tell. We feel like it was a waste of money and time. We would have had more fun listening to his CDs at home.
